Animation Work
Over 20 years in the industry, a few projects stand out as favourites.
Carmen Sandiego (Netflix)
Working on character posing and layout for this one was a dream. The show took audiences around the world, and Andres helped make sure every frame felt grounded, whether the scene was a chase through Paris or a quiet moment on a rooftop. Getting the poses right meant everything. A single gesture could tell you who a character was before they said a word.

Timon and Pumbaa (Disney)
As a storyboard artist, Andres helped shape the beats and timing that made this series work. Comedy lives and dies in the board, and Timon and Pumbaa demanded precision. Every pause, every reaction, every punchline had to land. It was a masterclass in pacing and one of the most fun rooms he’s ever been in.

Mucha Lucha (Warner Bros.)
Character posing and layout on this one meant embracing exaggeration. The show was loud, colourful, and full of energy. Andres leaned into the stylization, pushing poses to their limit while keeping the action clear and readable. It was the kind of project that reminded him why he got into animation in the first place.
Each of these shows taught him something different. Together, they shaped the artist he is today.
