This mark carries more weight than most.
Andres Miranda originally created the design for Oliver Dimapilis, co-owner of Cold Tea, the beloved Toronto bar that became a home base for the city’s hospitality community. It started as a mural, something painted on a wall for Oliver himself. Oliver passed away in July 2023 after a battle with cancer.
After his death, Oliver’s brother Dave Dimapilis reached out to Andre in Vancouver. What began as a single mural design grew into a full identity project for VS Creative Lab, a way of carrying Oliver’s vision and creative spirit forward through the studio.
The logo now stands as both a design and a tribute. Clean, bold, and built to last. Much like the man who inspired it.
